How many passengers can the boat carry?
Spirit of Independence has the roomiest decks of any schooner in Key West and is never crowded. Despite being Coast Guard approved for 49 passengers, we limit our sails to approximately 26 passengers to ensure an intimate and more personalized cruise. Spirit of Independence is the only schooner in Key West that only takes only half the number of passengers that the boat is licensed to carry.
What is the appropriate attire for a sunset sail?
Key West casual! Wear comfortable, preferably closed-toed shoes. No high heels or clogs. During winter months it can get a little chilly after sunset so we recommend bringing a sweater or light jacket during winter months.
